Sharief Johnson

Sharief Johnson is a comedian, Actor, writer, and producer. Sharief was born in Bayonne, NJ. Majority of Sharief’s childhood took place in the state of Georgia and his teenage years took place in the state of New Jersey. Growing up in unfortunate circumstances such as not living with parents and becoming a teen parent, Sharief found happiness in creating laughter! No matter where he was, Sharief was always was looking to make people laugh! This mindset eventually brought him to a popular club in NYC shortly after high school, where he started his comedy career! Sharief Johnson has featured and headlines at major clubs and Colleges all over the country ! Johnson won a comedy competition in 2018 that was produced by Sirius Xm Radio and the Sway in the morning show on SHADE 45. This show brought comedians from all over the nation to compete and Jonson won the whole competition! During the competition the management at Carolines on broadway took notice and offered Johnson a break out artist headlining show at Caroline’s where he has become a house comedian for the Club. Johnson recently caught the attention of Netflix is a joke at Laughing skull comedy festival 2022, and was asked to fly to California to film a set for Sirius XM/ Netflix Is A Joke radio! Johnson made his acting Debut in 2021 landing a recurring role as “Damon” on executive producer Curtis Jackson “50 cent“ Hit show Power book 3 “Raising Kanan”! Johnson was originally asked to be on two episodes in season 1, however writers and producers took a liking to Sharief’s talent. So he was written into more episodes and asked to come back for season two and he is currently filming season 3. Johnson also recently landed a national commercial with Under Armor and the famous Curry family, in which he can be seen playing the role of Seth Curry’s trainer!
